A bit about me and Luminoso Blu Events

I love to throw parties. It’s as simple as that. I get great joy out of seeing my guests laugh and smile and have a fabulous experience. There is also nothing better than that same happy guest telling me on their way out at the end of the evening that they had a great time.

After the birth of my first child in 2010 I didn’t relish the thought of going back to my corporate career, I wanted to do something creative, something that I loved and that gave others joy. So, I took my first small step into making my passion for events an ongoing part of my life and launched Luminoso Blu Events.

My goal for Luminoso Blu is to share my passion for great events with my clients – allowing them to get that same buzz from happy guests – just without the stress beforehand!

I hold a Masters in Human Resource Management, and my corporate career began in HR. My events experience stemmed from this, as I began to organize training events and meetings. I continued to develop this expertise and have planned and managed large conferences of several hundred participants. In addition, I have planned a wide range of social events, from small dinner parties, baby showers, engagement parties and of course weddings (including my own wedding – in Vanuatu).

I adore what I do. When you love what you do so much it becomes more than a career, it’s becomes your life (just ask my husband who constantly complains about the mess and overflowing shelves of props and supplies downstairs!).
